Allison Harker
Allison completed her Bachelor degree in Opera Performance at the University of British Columbia in 2012. She is continuing her studies at UBC in the Diploma program, studying with Marisa Gaetanne. Allison is trained as a stage, music theatre and operatic actress. Roles that Allison has performed include Susanna and Barbarina (Le nozze di Figaro), Juliet (The Merry Widow), Papagena and First Spirit (The Magic Flute) and Cis (Albert Herring). Allison has also performed in many excerpt concerts while at UBC: Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Gasparina (La Canterina), Blonde (The Abduction from the Seraglio) and Adele (Die Fledermaus).
Allison has performed as a soloist with the Okanagan Symphony Orchestra, and performed in plays as diverse as Oscar Wilde’s “The Importance of Being Ernest” to “High School Musical”.
