Christine Robinson
Christine is a bright and caring spirit with a deep love for helping and connecting with others. After completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Opera Performance at UBC in April, 2013, studying under Marisa Gaetanne, Christine is ecstatic to be bringing together her two loves – music, and working with others. The energy and boundless imagination of children are particularly delightful to her, and she is looking forward to fostering a love of music in them and exploring the possibilities that children offer.
Christine has been an active member of the UBC Opera Ensemble, performing various small roles and chorus appearances, and was also a member of the University Singers, UBC’s premiere vocal ensemble. Prior to university, she was actively involved in the musical life of her high school and community in Cranbrook, BC where she performed in various choirs, jazz ensembles, musical theatre productions, and even played the trumpet. She looks forward to developing her skills both as a teacher and performer, and plans to pursue a Master’s Degree in the future.
